Dato’ VS Mogan Velayatham is the former NS state EXCO for Estate Affairs, Human Resource, Environment and Public Complaints. He was the ADUN for Jeram Padang from March 2008 – March 2013. Dato’ VS Mogan initially started his career as a school teacher and he was very active in social works.
On GE-14 general election, he was nominated as a candidate at Telok Kemang Parliament Constituency but he was defeated by the opposition party candidate, Dato Kamarul Baharin Abbas.
Dato’ VS Mogan did not stop his service to the community of Telok Kemang constituency. He keep giving his good work to local people although he was defeated in the GE-13.
Dato Kamarul Baharin being the current member of parliament Telok Kemang, did not care about the welfare of the people who voted him with trust. He has not gone to the ground to listen to the people who needs help and guidance for the past 10 years. This gives us a picture that the opposition candidate will never give importance to the people who are in need. The opposition leader has break the trust of the people in Telok Kemang constituency.
Dato’ VS Mogan is also being the coordinator for the Special Implementation Task Force (SiTF) Negeri Sembilan which is located at Port Dickson. He has solved many cases such as Birth Certificate issue, Red IC issue, and all other issue brought to him by all the community Malay, Chinese and Indians. Dato VS Mogan Velayatham is the most suitable candidate at Teluk Kemang as he was a teacher, Negeri Sembilan State Exco Member, Special Officer for Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam, and at the moment MIC Chief Information Officer. He is well acquainted with both state and government policies and legislation processes.
Hence, Teluk Kemang people definitely could expect excellent service and parliament representative in the parliament.
Moreover, Dato’ VS Mogan been going around meeting the local people from Teluk Kemang since years back to collect their needs and feedback and personally taken interest to solve and given workaround for their problems. He been living among them regardless race and treat everyone equally.
